Carefully she placed her bag and other of her stuffs on the table, pulled out a chair without asking any permission and then sat right in front of me, rested her chin on both her hands and smiled at me.
I cleared my throat a bit, trying not to sound idiotic, I asked:
“Can I help you?”
“You know, I’ve noticed you for the past 2 months everyday, I’ve been sitting at the same table JUST RIGHT NEXT to yours but we’ve never spoke to each other.” She replied in a soft, gentle yet a playful tone.
“Well..that’s because library is not really a place to make friends?”
I lied, I’m just shy when there are girls around, especially cute ones like her.
oh god..what did I say this time…was it something stupid again?
“I’m in a terribly good mood today. Name’s Casey.” She reached out her hand to shake mine.
Quickly wiping my nervous sweaty palms for the 10th times, I reached out and shook her hand gently.
She smiled and placed her palms holding her chin.
“Well then, Dustin, from today onwards,I’ll be sharing this same table with you. This is my favourite table now.”
